California Chamber of Commerce Announces Opposition to Prop 10

The diversity of the No on Prop 10 coalition keeps expanding! Opposing Prop 10 now includes the Chamber of Commerce, 4 major consumer rights organizations, numerous labor groups, the pre-eminent good government organization in the state (League of Women Voters), one of the largest and most influential business coalitions (VICA), and numerous others.
Yesterday’s statement by the Chamber of Commerce opposing Prop 10 read:
“The reduction of greenhouse gases is a priority for our state, however this measure is not the most cost effective way to achieve reductions. Proposition 10 does not allow all technologies to compete for taxpayer dollars.”
